Exederm Ultra Sensitive Skin Care Line

Winter weather wreaks havoc on my family's skin. I suffer from psoriasis, my youngest has eczema, and my son has keratosis pilaris. We jumped at the chance to try out the new Exederm line made for babies and children with extremely sensitive skin.
20% of American children will suffer from eczema or dermatitis at some point and many more with sensitive skin will have adverse reactions to unnecessary chemicals or allergens found in well known skin care brands.
The new Exederm children’s line was launched in April and was just honored by The National Eczema Association with 5 individual Seal of Acceptance awards for their ultra sensitive formulations-receiving a 5 out of 5 rating, the highest rating available.
Their children’s line contains:
No Fragrance
No Color or dyes
No Paraben
No Lanolin
No Sodium Laureth Sulfate
No Phthalates
No Nut Oils
Our Take the following products:
Soothing Baby Oil we are not a fan of the oil, it doesn't absorb as quickly as we'd like and since most bathing is done in the evening the kids aren't keen on it making their pajamas stick to their skin.
Non-irritating Baby Shampoo-it's a fact that eczema occurs in the scalp too and watching my little one scratch at her head reminds me of kids with lice. I don't want her habit to make others leery about her condition. Using this shampoo, I loved it because it rinses clean and doesn't leave residue in the hair making it oily. I even used it and the one thing I dislike is that it does have a medicinal odor that isn't pleasing.
Cleansing Baby Bath This baby bath is great, slight scent (not fragrant) but rinses clean and non irritating!
Hydrating Baby Lotion this and the flare cream are very similar, same odd scent, but works very well
Intensive Baby Moisturizer I use this on my son's bumpy arms and it sloughs it off quite nicely over a period of a week or so. Again there is the not no nice medicinal scent associated with the cream. Putting it on at night and under a layer of cotton pajamas seems to work well as it doesn't leave a greasy feel on the skin.
Exederm Flare Control Cream My daughter and I both LOVE the flare cream. This is basically odorless and goes on easily and absorbs quickly. As soon as the itch cycle starts on my daughter this seems to tame it for the most part. I love it too because with my psoriasis I feel like the winter itch gets me. I will keep a tube of this in my purse constantly!!
