When I think of a name associated with quality children's toys, it's Melissa & Doug! The toy company is huge with parents and educators everywhere and have tons of awards to prove their quality!
Our philosophy has remained the same over the years–to make each and every customer a happy and permanent member of the Melissa & Doug family, while offering products with tremendous value, quality and design. We've always welcomed customer suggestions, and we continually strive to make improvements to our products. We're honored by the faith you place in us and view it as our responsibility to continue to earn your trust in the years to come!Imaginary play is crucial in all young children's development. Something that all 3 of my children have enjoyed is playing kitchen and acting like mom and dad! Melissa & Doug have a fabulous line of Play Food that's good enough to eat! The attention to detail and the construction of the the toys are top notch!
Our take: We were given a Slice and Back Cookie Set to review. We are a family that loves to make cookies and cinnamon rolls straight from the tubes at the store! When my youngest (age 3.5) saw this toy, she was so excited to play!! All the different cookie "decorations" were fun for her as she sorted them in like groups and then by colors lined up on the cookie sheet. This was so fabulous for her sorting skills, counting, patterns, and of course just the idea of playing a baker! Our couch cushions were lifted to make an imaginary oven and what a fun time we had enjoying this toy!

Oh golly! They have so much cute stuff! One thing I like is the U.S.A. Map Floor Puzzle....I've been wanting to teach my son where all of the states are located. This would be nice to have. My son loves to pretend he is cooking! He would have so much fun with the cookie set. In fact we are going to make real homemade cookies together today. He just very well may be the next Emeril or Bobby Flay! I would be very proud! Thanks for the giveaway!
