*contest closed* Backseat Drawing Junior Game *Giveaway*
Wednesday, July 08, 2009 Posted by The Mom Jen

Do you enjoy playing games as a family? Well, Out of the Box Publishing offers a wide variety of games for families, older children, and junior versions for the little kids!!
You have to try Backseat Drawing Junior, The Silly Game of Sketchy Directions!
Backseat Drawing Junior brings the outrageous fun of Backseat Drawing to the entire family.
Players race to identify a drawing done by the “artist”— but the artist doesn’t know what he or she is drawing! It’s up to the “director” to tell the artist how to draw the picture without giving away the name of the item shown on the picture card.
The laughter builds as the artist attempts to follow directions and everyone tries to identify the drawing. With Backseat Drawing Junior everyone can play and the fun never stops!

Our Take: We took this game with us on our weeklong vacation and we all had a blast! This fun game takes Pictionary to another level and uses skills that my older kids can really benefit from like listening, following directions, and interpreting ideas from others. When my husband and I were the directors, we tried to use words and terms that our kids could understand. Sometimes their pictures were way off, but getting the general idea of the sketch and guessing the item was fun! Comparing pictures was neat too, this is a fabulous family game!!
Want to win your own Backseat Drawing Junior, I have one to giveaway to a lucky reader of Therapeutic!!
