*contest closed* Fruit2Day *Giveaway*
Friday, June 26, 2009 Posted by The Mom Jen

Fruit2day is positioned to be the newest way for people to eat fruit.
Do you worry your children aren't getting enough fruit?! Would like an easier and less messy way to have your fruit an "drink" it too?!
Fruit2Day comes in 4 delicious flavors, Strawberry-Orange, Pineapple-Banana, Mango-Peach, and Cherry-Grape.
Packaged perfectly in a 6.5oz bottle, you can just grab it and go. It's made with real fruit bits, only 120 calories, and has 2 full servings of fruit.
My son tried the Strawberry-Orange first and loved the flavor, he enjoyed the bits of fruit in the drink, but mostly that it was a juice rather than a sauce. The Strawberry-Orange also contains a little bit of orange pulp, but it didn't distract from the taste. His favorite flavor was Cherry-Grape. I love that they are all natural and include a touch of carrot juice in them, just expanding the flavor palate. My husband enjoyed the Mango-Peach, but was slightly disappointed that all the juices include a bit of pineapple juice in them, not his favorite fruit.
Check out the website: http://www.fruit2day.com/ and also you can find them in a store near you by clicking here, http://www.fruit2day.com/wheretofindit.htm
Would you like to try them out for yourself? I have 2 coupons for 2 lucky winners to receive a FREE 2-pack of Fruit2Day (up to $4.00 value each).

I learned this: How do we measure our two servings of fruit?
Fruit2day contains real fruit pieces, fruit puree and natural fruit juice – all of which are recognized as healthy and nutritious ways to incorporate fruit into your diet.
According to the USDADietary Guidelines, one serving of fruit is equal to one half cup.18 This measurement is based on fresh fruit cut in typical slices or chunks. Of course, by cutting the fruit into small bits like we do in Fruit2day, we can fit the equivalent of a full serving into a smaller space. That’s why even though a bottle of Fruit2day is only 6.75 fluid ounces, it still contains two complete servings of natural fruit goodness.

ntioxidants
You hear a lot about the benefits of antioxidants – but what exactly do they do? “Oxidation” is a chemical reaction that accompanies many normal processes in the body. When oxidation occurs, it releases potentially harmful molecules known as “free radicals.” Excessive free radical production is thought to cause “oxidative damage,” a phenomenon that may contribute to aging and a number of chronic health problems including cancer and cardiovascular disease.7,8 A growing body of research indicates that consuming foods with antioxidant properties may help combat free radicals and protect against oxidative damage, supporting overall good health.9-1

I'm excited they have them in my local grocery store, I must have always skipped right by them! I learned that: In addition to providing great nutrition, fruit is also extremely figure-friendly; many fruits are low in calories and fat-free. Plus the wide world of fruit is incredibly diverse, so you’ll never run out of new types to enjoy. In short, fruit is a smart, scrumptious staple for your healthy lifestyle. Thanks for the giveaway!
