When is the last time you wrote a note to someone in your family?! Did you think about it before you emailed or texted via phone?! Kind Notes is a company that wants to keep love, personal notes, and kind thoughts alive.
The first idea of KindNotes began four years ago as a gift the Founder had made for her then-boyfriend-now-husband. So she wrote 31 short notes onto small pieces of paper, stuffed them into plain miniature envelopes and put them in an embellished jar. Her husband then began each day with a note that made him smile.

They want to provide a service that tailors to their customers’ preferences, even if it means investing a good amount of time hand-making each jar of KindNotes. Our Take: We received a jar of Kind Notes, and they were simply lovely to open each day and read for inspiration, a brilliant thought, or for a much needed smile. We also got a few blank notes where my older children loved to create their own 'quotes of the day.' The jar is beautiful and makes a nice centerpiece on any furniture, and directing guests/friends to reading a Kind Note is definately a conversation starter. This would make a great gift for a teacher, parent, grandparent or friend!

It's a tough decision with so many really neat designs to pick, but I think my favorite is The Chronicle. I find it sad that so newspapers are falling by the wayside.

My favorite pattern on the envelope has to be their Postal design!
I think the story behind their business is so incredibly sweet..and what a great idea too!! Very original with sentimental value that someone could have forever as a keepsake.
